2007
The ‘Great Flood’ of July overwhelms new flood defences and inundates the town centre – the latest flood to do so.
2018
A Celebration Of 40 Years Of Charlton Park was arranged for the summer of 2018. This consisted of an extensive display of photographs and articles that illustrated the many and diverse activities that told the story of the people and environment of Charlton Park. The display was presented firstly in May at the AGM which took place as usual in the Sacred Hearts Hall. It was then displayed again at the BBQ on The Green in July.
